Marvin and Patty are in their late 80s. Having raised three children, they are long since retired and living on a fixed income. Recently, Marvin’s health has deteriorated, and Patty is no longer able to care for him. He has been experiencing repeated falls and other medical challenges. The family has decided that he needs to be placed in a nursing home where he can receive the necessary care.
HaTikva Project was able to sponsor his first month in the home while the family works on getting insurance to cover his care in the future.
