Testimonials

“We had an amazing weekend. It’s always such deep & rich fellowship… there aren’t many people around in normal life who understand the unique challenges & joys that families like ours go through! Thank you to all the staff at HaTikva for investing in this important work.”

Adoptive Mother

“Why am I so emotionally excited about the gifts that are coming here? You know we’ve gone through such a terrible period in the last over two years. And here your wonderful organization has come, and you are bringing us love and hope and light.”

Neve Michael Children’s Village

“HaTikva Families did a wonderful seminar on Healing, Boundaries, and Burn Out. Our staff really felt refreshed afterwords and blessed. And it’s great to work together with another ministry. Thank you so much!”

  • Hosting – Hosting is a form of family-based care for vulnerable children run by nonprofits in Israel. The children live and study at a boarding school and stay with their host family on holidays and alternating weekends.
  • Adoption – The adoption process in Israel can be lengthy and challenging, but it is possible to adopt. A couple undergoes a screening process with Child Services. If approved, the family awaits a child to match their family profile, and the adoption order is granted by the Family Court.
  • Foster Care – Foster Care is a temporary solution for children that have been removed from their homes by the authorities. The child lives with the foster family, and the foster parents have some parental rights. Five organizations manage the Israeli foster care system under the Ministry of Welfare.
  • Volunteer – We have various volunteer opportunities throughout the year. Contact us to learn more.
