On Sunday, we visited one of our mothers in the north. She’d recently had a severe panic attack and was taken by ambulance to a psychiatric hospital, where she eventually calmed down.
While there, she saw a woman screaming uncontrollably, whom the nurses couldn’t console. Feeling the Holy Spirit prompt her, she went over and simply embraced the woman. The woman gradually relaxed, began to embrace her back, and eventually became calm. It was a remarkable moment that amazed everyone who witnessed it.
We praise the Lord for His presence, His peace, and the way He works through ordinary acts of love. He is faithful in every circumstance, and we give Him all the glory. To create spaces where people feel seen, heard, and reminded they belong.
