Leah is 86 years old and is originally from Moscow. She discovered HaTikva Dental through fellow members of a local Holocaust Survivors group. Leah shared that she is very happy with the dental care provided by the team. She deeply appreciates everything we do, expressing her gratitude wholeheartedly.
When Leah was just 3 years old, her family visited friends in Odessa. A few days later, the war broke out, and they were evacuated to Bashkiria. Her father, an officer, was recruited immediately. Leah and her mother were fortunate to be provided for, thanks to her uncle, who found them and took care of their needs. Leah is especially grateful to him, as she never had to experience hunger—which was incredibly rare during that time.
Her mother worked tirelessly from home, crocheting socks for the army, a job that also ensured they had food on the table.
