Serving at a Children’s Village

As communities continue to be inspired to action by the Lord through Orphan Shabbat, we were able to put a team of staff and volunteers together for a service day at a wonderful Children’s Village called Neve Michael.  It’s such a joy to serve the orphan in the name of Yeshua!

This year, as we continue to lead Orphan Shabbat www.orphanshabbat.org our HaTikva Families team was able to collect generous donations from local believers to purchase gifts for orphans and at risk children living in local youth villages. Our great thanks to those who donated and to those who recognized Orphan Shabbat/Orphan Sunday throughout the world.

HaTikva Families Leads Israel’s First TBRI Training

On Friday, January 10, Hatikva Families had the privilege of hosting Israel’s first formal presentation of TBRI, Trust Based Relational Intervention, in partnership with Anchor of Hope Counseling Center and Adoption Wisdom. TBRI is an attachment-based, trauma-informed intervention designed to meet the complex needs of vulnerable children.
