Veorikia’s Path to Healing and Stability

Veorikia is a single mother of 3 and attends a local messianic congregation in Israel.

She grew up in an abusive home filled with violence and alcoholism. At a young age, she left home and took her little sister with her. She raised her younger sister and kept her safe from the abuse at home.

She wound up getting married and starting a family but her husband eventually left her for another woman who lived abroad and left her with tens of thousands of shekels of debt.

Veorikia is receiving financial counseling to help her manage her debt and HaTikva Project was also able to help her reduce her debt and get into a more stable financial position.
