Ribi is 57 and is divorced with 2 children, one of whom lives at home. She is currently unemployed and receiving a small amount of unemployment benefits from National Insurance. On October 7th, her brother was murdered leaving her to take care of her elderly mother. She has to travel a lot to visit her mother who is in a nursing home. The cost of gas in Israel is approximately $9 per gallon. HaTikva project was able to help her with the monthly gas expenses while she continues to care for her mother and look for a new job.
