Silvia’s Devotion and a Helping Hand

Silvia immigrated to Israel with her mother 20 years ago. Now in her 60s, she is her mother’s sole caregiver. Over the years, she has worked multiple jobs in cleaning and assisting the elderly, trying to balance work and caregiving. But as her mother’s health deteriorates, Silvia has been unable to work, and her debt has reached an unmanageable level.

She reached out for help, and thanks to your generosity, we were able to support her once again. "The poor you will always have with you" (Matthew 26:11), and we are grateful for the opportunity to help those who would otherwise have no one to turn to.
