Merissa is a single mother of 2 children aged 5 and 18. Her ex-husband left her and left debts of tens of thousands of shekels and does not pay alimony or his part to cover the debt. Merissa, on the other hand, lives responsibly and modestly and tries to pay what she can. Recently, the bank sent a letter with a final date by which she was required to pay a debt. Her local messianic congregation is working to help her pay off her debt and HaTikva Project has come alongside to help also. Together we are able to be an agent of the Lord's kindness and make a difference in people’s lives!
