S. is a Holocaust survivor residing in Kiryat Shmona who was evacuated from her home during war. She has been staying in a nearby hotel next to our Jerusalem Dental Clinic for the past few months. She recently happened to overhear a conversation between a few of our Russian-speaking patients who had just left our clinic and struck up a conversation with them. Upon learning that our clinic provides assistance to Holocaust survivors, she expressed her need for dental care. Suffering from a dental bridge that had fallen out and requiring a deep cleaning, she was overjoyed to receive the news that we could help her. After receiving treatment, she was deeply grateful and emotional, insisting on taking a photo with the doctor and hygienist who assisted her. She has since referred other evacuees staying at the nearby hotel to HaTikva clinic for treatment.
