Miriam is a single mother of 2 children, ages 11 and 14.
She works with the elderly which requires a lot of physical labor.
A year ago, she started having joint pain and was also diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder. She is in the process of requesting disability status from the National Insurance.
On top of all that, she recently underwent surgery to remove her appendix and could not work during the rehabilitation period, which significantly reduced her income.
She was able to receive help from HaTikva Project because of your generous donations.
