Hope for Change

September 24th, 2023 |HaTikva Families

In June, we were honored to speak at a Southern nonprofit supporting orphans and widows. Our topic: "Hope for Change." Around ten mothers attended as we explored how life experiences, especially childhood, shape us. We emphasized that by understanding our stories and addressing wounds, change and growth are possible, making us better parents.

We shared parenting tips to help them build connections and trust with their children. The session concluded with an awareness exercise and a creative "bandaid" activity, teaching caregiving dynamics. The feedback was fantastic, and HaTikva Families was grateful for the opportunity to contribute.
