Holocaust survivors Y. (90) and V. (85) were referred to HaTikva Dental Clinic by their daughter, who was also a patient in our clinic and pleased with her treatment. After making aliyah from the Russian Republic of Tatarstan, both are grateful for the compassionate, professional care they received.

In June, we were honored to speak at a Southern nonprofit supporting orphans and widows. Our topic: "Hope for Change." Around ten mothers attended as we explored how life experiences, especially childhood, shape us. We emphasized that by understanding our stories and addressing wounds, change and growth are possible, making us better parents.

We shared parenting tips to help them build connections and trust with their children.The session concluded with an awareness exercise and a creative "bandaid" activity, teaching caregiving dynamics. The feedback was fantastic, and HaTikva Families was grateful for the opportunity to contribute.

Our gift was a part of an effort from several organizations who came together to help her get completely out of debt.
