From Tours to Trials: Helping Shookie and Karen Navigate Hardship with Grace

Shookie and his wife Karen have 5 young children ranging from 3-11 years old. They are a wonderful couple who serve the believing community in every way they can and are constantly finding ways to help others and build up the body. When the war broke out they quickly rallied to bring help to soldiers they knew and also to the families of these soldiers. They are a very special couple whose lives are marked by service and amazing testimonies of God’s provision and miracles.

Together they own a tour company and when the war started all of their tours were canceled. Shookie got a job working at a local grocery store stocking shelves just to help make ends meet. They heard about our war relief fund and reached out to us for help. We were happy to help them with a gift. Thank you for helping contribute to this special family and the small but great work they do in the land.
