From Evacuation to Empowerment: Yoel’s Journey of Resilience and Support

April 29th, 2024 |HaTikva Aid

Yoel is a young single man from a believing congregation near the Lebanon border where he owns and runs a local restaurant. He was evacuated from his home at the beginning of the war and has been working as a volunteer, preparing meals for the soldiers since then. Although he hasn’t had any income from the restaurant he has still had to pay rent for the space which has caused him financial stress. HaTikva Project has been able to alleviate this stress and help keep him out of debt.
