Driving Toward a Brighter Future

October 18th, 2024 |HaTikva Aid

Karen, 34, is a single woman from Eilat. Due to mental health challenges, including PTSD and bipolar disorder, she is recognized as disabled. While she sometimes manages to work, the recent war and threats to Eilat caused severe anxiety, leading her to isolate at home. She was close to finishing a driver’s license course but couldn’t afford to continue after being unable to work during the conflict. Thanks to the HaTikva Project, Karen was able to complete her course and move forward.
