Amazing Progress for HaTikva Families in 2019

We provided specialized training for 140 foster care/adoption professionals and parents, consulted with 11 new families interested in adoption/foster care, provided ongoing financial support to the families of 7 adopted children, had 20,000 people join us for a live-streamed prayer event for Orphan Sunday/Shabbat, provided gifts to children in foster care for Purim, Passover and Hanukkah, launched our trauma-informed parenting course and trained 11 families through it, had a recruitment conference in Tel Aviv to involve the Messianic Ethiopian community in foster care/adoption, and financially partnered with other organizations to put on special activities and camps for foster children. We have also just hired our second social worker who joined the team on Jan. 1st!
