A New Home for Diana and Her Family

November 27th, 2024 |HaTikva Aid

Diana is married with five children.

Until October 8, the family lived in a settlement in southern Israel.

Although they are not officially recognized as state evacuees, the constant sounds of war severely impacted their quality of life, especially for their children, prompting them to leave the area.

They rented an apartment in a much quieter neighborhood in Jerusalem, which was challenging due to the high cost of living compared to their previous home.

Despite the expense, they decided to stay and signed a lease for another year so the children, who are already enrolled in local schools, could continue to settle into their new home and community.

They needed assistance with both rent and furniture for their apartment, and HaTikva Project was happy to support them with some of these expenses
