A New Beginning for Yael and Her Family

June 24th, 2024 |HaTikva Aid

Yael is a single mother of 3. Having no formal education or training, she had been working in a nursing home for a lower-than-average salary. At the beginning of the war, the nursing home was closed and Yael had to apply for welfare. In addition to struggling to find employment, her ex-husband left her with significant debt. Her lack of income is now adding to her burden. HaTikva Project was able to help relieve some of the pressure so that Yael could get back on her feet again.
