Alisa, is an 85-year-old Holocaust survivor. She and her brother Boris, who is a patient at HaTikva Dental, shared their story of WWII and their escape from the Holocaust.
They and their parents were evacuated to Engels. Alisa remembers her father telling her about a monetary reform and how he believed that everything would become cheaper, and he would buy her a beautiful dress.
At that time, many people were evacuated from Moscow and St. Petersburg to nearby towns. There was a severe food shortage, so her parents had to travel to Moscow to get groceries.
“I love Moscow so much,” Alisa recalls fondly.
Alisa and Boris were pleased with the treatment he received from HaTikva Dental, and she plans to become a patient too.
Thank you for helping support people like Boris and Alisa.
