A Brother’s Place of Healing

Yoni is 53 years old and divorced. Approximately a decade ago, he was diagnosed with a mental health disorder and has since been under psychiatric care. He currently resides at the “HaShalom for Rehabilitation and Mentally Injured” hostel, where he pays 1,400 NIS per month for his accommodation and support.

For many years, Yoni’s mother provided him with financial assistance. However, since her passing two years ago, his siblings have stepped in to help cover his living expenses. Unfortunately, most of them work in the tourism industry, which has been severely impacted by the ongoing war. As a result, their ability to continue supporting Yoni has diminished, especially as they face growing financial responsibilities within their own families.

Yoni’s sister came to us on behalf of her brother, specifically to help cover the cost of his continued stay at the rehabilitation center. We were happy to help them thanks to God’s provision through your generous donations.
