Each year, we have the privilege of leading the Orphan Shabbat initiative in partnership with Orphan Sunday, inviting communities to pause and stand in prayer for orphaned and vulnerable children in Israel and around the world.In a world where needs can feel overwhelming, choosing to stand and pray is a powerful first step. These moments remind us that compassion begins in the heart and leads to action, and that every one of us has a role to play in bringing hope to children who long to be seen, protected, and loved.
